Wrote... I have a cottage at Nutimik lake and love it there. In fact I love the whole Whiteshell. I rent my cottage out sometimes and the renters love Nutimik and the Whiteshell as well. Great site! It's nice to see so many Whiteshell enthusiasts!

Wrote... I am doing the "big whiteshell - winnipeg river" canoe route, also called the "caddy lake canoe route" (but im starting at big white). Have only some experience doing shorter trips. I was hopin g to find good maps, to help me and my buddy as we navigate all the rapids (we are adventerous, and young, and will most definitely be doing things beyond our ability). I was hoping somebody knew of a good place to get some good maps of this area, or had good info on where to go on each of the rapids (and which ones are absolutely not passable). Thanks.

Wrote... Spent the day at Pine Point Trail on April 11th. What a beautiful day! The turtles that make their home just past acorn falls are huge! This is a favorite spot for me when I hike this trail. ..everyone check it out!
